About Our School

St. Bernadette Catholic School was first opened in 1959. We have a dedicated staff of professionals who are committed to providing a supportive and caring environment for our students.

The St. Bernadette School Council is an active group of parents who are dedicated to supporting the learning environment of the school. The school and parent community work collaboratively to ensure and maintain a safe learning environment for all students.

The Parish team of Holy Cross Parish is an integral part of our school community.  In the past we have had regular classroom visits, monthly celebrations of the Eucharist, and shared events contribute to providing a faith-based education for our children. This year, due to COVID restrictions we have had to adjust our work together since no visitors are permitted in our building.   Before and after school care is available through the London Children’s Connection School Age Program.

Living Our Faith

St. Bernadette Catholic School is proud to demonstrate its Catholic faith in the community. Charities, identified and supported by Council benefit from the efforts and generosity of staff, students, and their families. We take part in a number of events to support these worthwhile causes.  These causes include Terry Fox, Jump Rope for Heart, Be An Angel Program,  as well as food drives for food banks in our local community.

Transportation Information

Many of our students are transported by bus. Information on bus delays or cancellations due to inclement weather can be obtained from the local radio stations or the board web site (www. ldcsb.on.ca).
